17 faculty members of SUMC received research grants with a total funding of RMB 4.18 million from the “Yangyan Project” and “Tezhi Project” 2016 of Guangdong.

Among the 17 faculty members, Drs. Huang Chengyang, Li Lu and Xiao Xiaoqiang from SUMC and its Second Affiliated Hospital and Shantou International Eye Center respectively were enrolled to the “Tip-Top Talent Subproject” of the “Yangfan Project” of Guangdong with funding of RMB one million for each person.

In 2014-2016, a total number of 70 faculty members of SUMC received research grants from the “Yangyan Project” and “Tezhi Project” 2016 of Guangdong with funding of RMB 11.16 million in total.
