On June 1, SUMC’s staff volunteers joined Shantou Staff Volunteer Association to celebrate the Children’s Day with the autistic children at Shantou Qicheng Children Intelligent Rehabilitation Training Center. They played games with these children and gave them presents. In return, the beloved children showed their talents like drawing as well as their rehabilitation training results to the staff volunteers.

In order to draw public attention to early screening, diagnose and intervention for autistic children and create an equal and tolerant social environment, Shantou Staff Volunteer Association has been working with the civilian-run rehabilitation organizations to carry out voluntary activities for children with autism on a regular basis.
