Three students Daming Xu, Qiang Yu and Peixuan Chen from SUMC, whose “Noise-AID^TM” project won the first prize in the National Final of Johnson & Johnson - Enactus Nursing Innovation Competition earlier in August this year, represented China to attend the Enactus World Cup 2017 Global Goals Forum on September 27 in London, UK.

During the Global Goals Forum, our three students joined other student representatives, business and academic leaders from all over the world in in-depth discussions on how to achieve the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) for 2030. They presented their “Noise-AID^TM” project and share their ideas on SDG #3, Good Health and Well-being. Peixuan Chen served as one of Global Goals Ambassadors at the Global Goals Forum to put forward suggestions on the SDG #3, Good Health and Well-being. Chen called for greater attention to popularization of basic medical knowledge, improvement of children’s and women’s health as well as plague prevention.

SUMC and its students will continue efforts to improve independent innovation capacity and contribute to the nation’s healthcare.
