On September 17, 2019, the Web of Science Group, a Clarivate Analytics company, announced the winners of the Global Peer Review Awards, powered by Publons which recognize global researchers for both the quality and quantity of their peer reviews.

Dr. Haoyu Lin from the Department of Thyroid and Breast Surgery at SUMC’s First Affiliated Hospital has recently been awarded the Publons Top Peer Reviewer 2019 for the Top 1% of Reviewers both in Molecular Biology and Genetics and in Cross-Field. This award is based on the Publons global reviewer database, determined by the number of peer review reports performed during the 2018-2019 award year. The Top Peer Reviewer Award is part of the Global Peer Review Awards, honoring the elite contributions to scholarly peer review and editorial pursuits internationally.
