Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences Institute of Medical Information announced the 2018 rankings of Chinese hospitals’ science and technology influence (http://top100.imicams.ac.cn) on December 23, 2018. The Nursing Department of SUMC First Affiliated Hospital ranked the 62nd nationwide in the nursing discipline. This year was the first time to utilize the “Science and Technology Evaluation Metrics (STEM)”. The Department has been among top 100 in this discipline for three consecutive years, which is a recognition of the work of the medical staff in the Department as well as the medical and academic level of the First Affiliated Hospital. The Department of Rheumatism will pay more efforts to further strengthen the basic and clinical research, improve the level of diagnosis and treatment for critical rheumatoid diseases, enhance the quality of service, and comprehensively promote the development of the discipline.
