Recently the 2018 rankings list of Chinese Hospitals by Scientific and Technology Evaluation Metrics (STEM) was unveiled. Our First Affiliated Hospital made the shortlist in a number of specialties. Specifically, Cardiovascular Surgery ranked 63rd, Neurology 75th, Emergency Medicine 79th, and Stomatology 83rd. Three specialties of our Second Affiliated Hospital also entered top 100 in their respective sub-lists, Plastic Surgery (84th), Burn Surgery (88th), and Dermatology (97th). SUMC’s Second Affiliated Hospital was the only hospital in Eastern Guangdong on the three sub-lists.
