From March to May, students of SUMC went to England, the U.S.A., Canada, and the Netherlands for a 2-month rotation.

Our college have always emphasized on an educational model that is on track with our international peers. Therefore, we strive to improve our students’ English proficiency and self-learning ability, and provided them with opportunities to go to hospitals in other countries. This year, the 2011 English Class got the opportunity to go to Oxford, Yale, Stanford, Toronto, Manitoba, and Groningen to learn at these prestigious institutions.

To prepare them for an English clinical setting, the college had Dr. Savari, Dr. Tan, and Dr. Ruma strengthen their history-taking and case presentation skills since September of last year. 

Besides academics, the students were able to tour museums and sightsee, broadening their views, and appreciate different cultures. They feel fortunate for this opportunity and thank the Li Ka Shing Foundation for its support.
