On March 13-16, Prof Mary E. O’Keefe from University of Texas School of Nursing visited SUMC for academic exchanges.

On March 13 morning, Prof. O’Keefe delivered the “Advanced Nursing Leadership and Management” course to the nursing students of SUMC and organized group discussions among them. On the afternoon, Prof. O’Keefe gave a talk on “Assuring Quality Care: Law, Ethics & Patient Safety” to SUMC’s nursing students and faculties. On 14-16, Prof. O’Keefe continued to teach the courses on nursing research and evidence-based nursing.

During the visit, Prof. O’Keefe has brought a lot of nursing knowledge to SUMC’s students, faculties and nursing staff.
