The Department of Human Anatomy is an essential department for the teaching of educational programs and scientific research within SUMC. The mission of the department is to accumulate, analyze and disseminate knowledge about anatomical sciences through education and research.
We provide teaching courses in Anatomy to students in various programs at SUMC. Our teaching programs are further substantiated and enriched by our ongoing research activities which mainly focus on clinic anatomy and neurosciences.
The full-time teaching staff currently comprises 2 professors, 4 associate professors and 3 technical staff members. The department is headed by Prof. Wen-ping Guo.
